Romans 8:28-31

This week a powerful message was brought forth by one of our newly ordained Elders, Cedric (Little Bishop) Rouson, and what a powerful message it was. We all stood in awe as the Lord used this man of God. As always he so willingly allows God’s will to be done in his life. The message entitled “Divine Synchronicity” was a blessing. Elder Rouson began with a testimony about his father. Right before he had a massive stroke, although it was an awful situation, God was still working. God works in the very details of our life, no matter how odd it may seem. The word Syn –with and chronicity-which means time. Lets us know that the things we go through are not just random acts. They all work together in a synchronized way. Romans 8: 28 says that all things work together for good to them that love God; that are the called according to his purpose. We must realize as children of God that we have an inheritance. We must understand what the will of God is for our lives. Let us remember that God wants his will to be done in your life just as much as you do. According to Ephesians 1:11, we are chosen and predestined according to His plan. God takes counsel with his will to decide what is best for us. Counsel means to give advice or wisdom. He works things together at the advice of his will. Even when we do not listen to his will for our life, God cares enough to listens to his own will for us and work accordingly. Everyone may not be happy about the things you went through in 2009. You may even have regrets about some things. There is proof of regrets because the most popular feeling this time of year is always a New Years Resolution. I know you are probably asking yourself how could God use someone like me after all the stupid and dumb stuff I have done. He could have chosen someone better, than a thief, than an adulteress, a murderer an alcoholic? Why would the Lord choose me? We must realize that God does not make mistakes. He chose you on purpose. Even after all you have been through. He knew everything you would face, every mistake you would make, every wrong decision, and he chose you in spite of it. By the time you get to your season, you will not look like what you’ve been through. Though your sins be as scarlet, Jesus will make them white as snow! I know what you’re thinking, how could something as bad, and something so great make something so full of grace? We are Victorious!

Every blow that the devil tries to throw at you is turned around for your good. Your life is not strange. This is not the first time God used a child out of wedlock, or a step child. Jesus was a child that came forth without the mother being married to the father. Jesus had a step father. God can use anybody to speak into your life. 2 Kings 5:1-14 Naaman was a powerful man and a young girl spoke into his life. He was rich and powerful, and she was a little girl. We must be in the place to receive. Stop being prejudice, God can use anyone. He uses anyone he wants to bring about purpose. You see God is a great mathematician. He knows exactly what to do to get the right answer. We should not say I wish I could erase that part of my life and add this part. It all adds up to what God wants it to add up to. A square + B square = your life. The good parts + the bad parts = God’s purpose. You can’t change it.
Allow me to give you five products of synchronicity.
He fore knew us- He knew us before time began (I Timothy 1:9). Your initial state of creation was not here on this earth. He fore knew us He already knows everything about us so, it would be crazy for us to try to educate God on any situation in our life. In fact we would be crazy not to confess our faults and sins to God.

He predestined us- He predetermined what we were going to be. God is Omniscient, he is “all knowing.” He knew everything that would happen in your life and he accounted for it in his will. He knew in heaven what was going on in this earth.

He called us- Between 2 + 3 you were born, you lived then he called you.

4. He justified us- Justified means to put back in the right standing with God. God has a way of making it seem as if it never happened. 2 Corn 5:7. Not only does God forgive, but he forgets. He doesn’t remember our mess. Even when we try to bring it back up he does not remember.

5 He glorifies us- God is the King of Glory. Glorifying us reconnects us to eternity is put in the heart of those who love him. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness. When people see you, they will see the glory of God.

In closing, let me say that this is not the first time that God operated in divine synchronicity. In Matthew 1:1-16 there were 42 generations of synchronicity.
42 generations of junk. Within those 42 generations were whores, murderers, adulterers, and much more. Jesus had 42 generations of curses to break, but God brought things together. What ever you may have faced in your child hood, what ever your mother, father, grand father, great grandfather or great grandfather did. It does not matter because Jesus came to break the curse. He came that we may be free! He used Divine Synchronicity!
