“He Maintains What He Ordains”

Tuesday, December 8th, 2009

The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? I count it an honor and a privilege to have Kingdom citizenship today. Thanking God for our relationship and giving Him praise for my brothers and sisters who are in kinship together. It gives me great pleasure to bring you
The Shekinah Glory Sunday Highlights. Our Bishop-Elect A. Ray Rouson brought forth
An on time, powerful and fulfilling word, as five ministers were ordained Elders on Sunday morning. The message entitled “He Maintains What He Ordains” (John 15:16).
Let me pause and give God praise just for the title! Please sit prayerfully with me while I try to type this message with out preaching it over, because a great preacher makes you want to preach along with him or her. Can I get an Amen! The Bishop Elect began the message by reminding us who we are. Those of us in Christ have dual citizenship. We are citizens of this natural world and we are citizens of Christ Kingdom. In the natural world we must follow the laws of this land. A citizen of Christ Kingdom means that we must follow kingdom principles. When we are a citizen of Christ we must change our way of thinking, we live according to paradox. Or contradiction, an example would be, “You can’t see the forest for the trees”… everyone knows that the forest is the trees. When you live by kingdom principles you must live in a paradox state, if you want to lead, you must be a servant, and follow. If you want to be heard, you must study to be quiet. We cannot live according to this world’s principles. Our lifestyle must change in order to be validated. Jesus said in John 15:16, you have not chosen me, I have chosen you. Paul reminds us in Romans 8:31 that if God be for us who can be against us? There is nothing that God will not do for us. He even gives us the desire of our hearts. Many of us miss understand this verse and we tend to think that God will give us everything we want, but in reality the scripture is saying that he puts the very desire of his will within our hearts. He wants his will to be fulfilled so much, that he puts it in our hearts that we may desire the things he has ordained for us. There are three reasons God has ordained you.
1. Ordained for Productivity- He ordained you to produce. The kingdom should be better because you are in it. Types of fruit to produce is A) Character- stand for something, ethics and integrity, you should have Christian character and live a holy life. B) Christian Converse- We are responsible for leading someone else to Christ. Don’t be a bench warmer. Get up and work. C) Maintain, Continue in your work.
2. Ordained for Preservation- That your fruit will remain. Be steadfast un-movable because only what you do for Christ will last. What ever you put your hands to do it should last. If you pray the prayer should be effective, if you cast out demons the demon should stay out.
3. Ordained for Privilege-It is a privilege to be ordained by God and we all can have that privilege. Whatever you ask in Jesus name it shall be done. Abraham was called the friend of God. Because of Abraham’s life his nephew lot was spared. There are people that you have been praying for that God has kept his hand upon them because of your blood covenant with him. Your prayers. It’s a privilege. Jesus said I am no longer your servant I now call you friend and you don’t treat friends any kind of way. You live a life of privilege in this Kingdom.
We must remember brothers and sisters in Christ that God has called each and every one of us in this ministry. Many are called but few are chosen. We are all called
But who are the chosen? The chosen are the ones who answered the call. Don’t worry about what you have or don’t have, or your ability let God fix it. Allow him to give you what you need. Because “He Maintains What He Ordains!”

Let us congratulate our newly ordained Elders:
